Greater Princeton AYLUS Participated in a Chinese Traditional Tibetan Wedding Performance at the Wheaton Arts and Culture Center in Millville, NJ on June 8, 2019

On Saturday, June 8th, 2019, Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) members went to Millville to participate in a Chinese Traditional Tibetan Wedding Performance at the Wheaton Arts and Culture Center, NJ.

Between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, GPA members Kevin Liu, Victor Peng, Keyu Yang, and Cassie Tammy Wang were dressed up colorful Tibetan clothes, and joined more than 30 adult dancers for the Performance.

The traditional Tibetan wedding these actors have put together for the show, includes the following six parts: (1) Crying before Getting Married; (2) Presenting Hada to Bride and Groom; (3)  Kangding Love Song; (4) Tibetan Clothes Show; (5) A Folk Dance: Ko Chuang; and (6) Getting Married.

All actors worked so hard for the past three months to get well prepared for this “Culture Promotion” related “Weddings of East Asia” Performance at Wheaton Arts and Culture Center (admission free). Hundreds of audience were amazed by what a great performance was presented!  

Time Served: 4 hours for all participants
