Greater Princeton AYLUS Pushed the “Art and Music From Heart, You Could Save a Life” Project Forward on June 1 and 6, 2019

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS, NJ Branch (GPA) officially started an “Art and Music From Heart, You Could Save a Life” project on Monday, May 27th, 2019. A Benefit Art Exhibition is to be hosted on Friday night, June 7th, 2019 (7-10), while a Benefit Music Performance is planned for Saturday afternoon, June 29th, 2019 (1:30-4:30).

On Saturday, June 1st (2 hours), Amy Lin, Princeton District Team Leader of GPA, went to Princeton Public Library, and had the flyers posted there. In addition, Amy talked to lots of people at the entrance. Flyers were taken quickly. At the same time, Cassie Tammy Wang, President of GPA, posted the flyers in Sharron Art Center and invited teachers, students, and their parents to attend the two planned Benefit Art Exhibition on 6/7 and Benefit Music Performance on 6/29. Even if they can not make it in person, the link of donation was offered at: rescuemusic.org/donate/

On Thursday, June 6th, 2019, GPA member Lana Cheng, also delivered more than 15 copies of the flyer to her neighbors within 2 hours.

GPA encourages all student members and their parents to get themselves involved in this meaningful “Art and Music From Heart, You Could Save a Life” Project. To do that, just spread out the flyers, attend the events, and donate online or in person. It is a wonderful opportunity for our members to become even better. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!
