Greater Princeton AYLUS Junior Reporters Promoted Traditional Culture on February 6, 2019

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) Branch in NJ has many members talented in bilingual skills, reading, writing, and art, who are all in favor of Chinese and American cultures. Using our talents, Greater Princeton Branch continued its “Culture Promotion” project on February 6th, 2019 by contributing articles in Chinese with art illustration to a newspaper “Junior Reporter Times” regularly.

On page A1 of its February 6th, 2019 issue, GPA member Angelina Yingying Liu spent 3 hours to author an article, telling us sweet stories of her grandparents, who still live in China. On page A2, GPA members Angela Li and Catherine Feng each spent 3 hours to author their own articles, making good wishes for the 2019. On page A3, Cassie Tammy Wang spent 3 hours to author her article entitled “The Beautiful Dream of Childhood”, recalling her unforgettable experience while she visited the Disney World for the first time 8 years ago.

In addition, GPA member and Art Editor Sophia Chen, spent 4 hours to make layouts of 2 pages. As the Art Editor-In-Chief, Cassie took full responsibility in reviewing the layout of A1-A6, spending 6 hours to make sure they were typo-free and attractive to the subscribers.

Good work, Angelina Yingying Liu, Angela Li, Catherine Feng, Sophia Chen, and Cassie Tammy Wang. We look forward to reading more articles of GPA members for the benefit of “Culture Promotion”, which could help make our community better!
