Greater Princeton AYLUS Featured Talented Members VIII: Daniel Ju on December 20, 2018

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA), NJ Branch, has many talented members. Since December 11th, 2018, we started to feature some of them on our web page, so all GPA members get to know each other. Hopefully, it would also help with more constructive and collaborative teamwork among GPA members in our volunteer activities! So here comes one of our members Daniel Ju:

Self-Introduction Provided by Daniel Ju:

I’m Daniel Ju,a 7th grader student at the Wilberforce School in West Windsor. I came from mainland China, therefore I can speak Chinese very well. I may have some trouble when writing in Chinese, but I can still write most of the character in Chinese.

One thing I love to do is to learn about SPACE. Even though my school doesn’t teach about it at all, I still learn about it on my own and I would love to teach some fact about it.

I also like to solve a rubik’s cube, I can solve a rubik’s cube under 50 seconds, and my best record is about 36 second.  It is really satisfied the first time you solve a cube.

I had a good experience with drama. I have participated with the Princeton University Chinese Drama Club, and recently got involved with a drama called The Teahouse. I played as a kid in the show and I really enjoyed it!

I joined the fantastic GPA organization because I wanted to make some new friends in addition to do volunteering so all together we can serve our community using our unique talents.
