Description of the Wallingford Branch

In the fall of 2022, four high school students started leading the Wallingford Branch of AYLUS in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to serve the community through different community service projects. Not only do we want to inspire students to build their leadership skills, and their teamwork skills, but we also want to show them how fun it can be to give back and even improve the community. We can use our personal talents and passions to create new ideas for volunteering, and it can be a joyful experience for everybody. For those with artistic minds, we can create art in our projects, such as crafting cards or making toys. We can make food to donate to food banks. We can offer tutoring for other students in our favorite subjects and we can arrange some other educational events. We can also improve the environment through cleanup projects. When working together to serve the community, we can really bring the best out of each other.
