On April 28th, 2020, three students from Ward Melville Senior High School in New York founded the fifty-fourth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Three Village, NY.

Description of the Three Village Branch
We are the Three Village branch of AYLUS located on Long Island, New York, founded by three high school students. We joined together to form this branch as students who wanted to contribute to our local community by doing various service projects, and to promote creativity, leadership, and initiative among younger students. There are many different aspects in our community that we can help in, and we aspire to participate in AYLUS activities as well as our own. Our volunteer service is directed towards all aspects of the community, but some specific areas we may target include fundraising to help the elderly or disabled, helping children in need, and more. The relationship between a community and its members is that of giving and receiving. Our goal is not only to do that to our maximum ability but also to help and benefit our community at the same time. We will strive to create unique service opportunities with more one-on-one interactions which will not only allow us to learn more about our community but also to guarantee that our help is going to where it is needed most. As one of the few branches on Long Island that are currently still active, we would love for others around us to join us in contributing to our local community.
