Description of the Greater Cleveland Branch
The Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States Cleveland Branch is a student-run volunteer group serving the residents of the Great Cleveland area, Ohio. The mission of the group is to promote excellence in volunteering services throughout the Great Cleveland area. We will support local volunteer activities and are committed to long-term volunteering commitments. We are interested in hosting fundraising events to support nonprofit organizations that rely on donations and providing academic tutoring for children from underprivileged families. We are also interested in improving the environment for people living in the community (e.g., clean up parks, help nursing homes). Our goal is to foster a positive environment where volunteers can enhance community awareness, develop good values, and have the opportunities to contribute to the success of the community. We hope to build a collaborative team to broaden our horizons and foster teamwork. The Greater Cleveland Branch welcomes all students who live in the Great Cleveland area!
