Description of the Carmel Branch

By starting Carmel AYLUS, we hope to be the positive change in the Carmel community that many want to see. With a gigantic high school with over five thousand students, Carmel truly is the place for an AYLUS chapter to thrive as young leaders volunteer their time and energy to organize food pantry shelves, organize and arrange youth events, and lead by example to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. We hope to partner with local centers such as Grace Care Center, an amazing organization that organizes a grocery store sized choice food pantry, auto care center, and education center that truly provides every citizen the tools for success. We also hope to inspire youth activism in every member by advocating for policy reform and spreading important messages of inclusivity and equity. By doing so, we can effectively enrich the lives of everyone living in Carmel by promoting the fundamental principles that AYLUS embodies, which certainly displays the profound impact that AYLUS can have on the Carmel community.
