Chapel Hill Branch Sent Cards and Messages for Healthcare Workers in October 2020

During a global pandemic, it is important to appreciate and thank our healthcare workers for their hard work in trying to repair the United States. Since we know how important and difficult their jobs are, we decided to reach out to our local healthcare workers and support them with cards and messages of hope.

Our goal was to send them encouragement to let them know how much we appreciate them. We decided to send the cards to UNC Healthcare. They have set up an email address for community members to submit pictures of their drawings and thank you notes. These pictures are used to create a screen saver so that healthcare workers can enjoy notes of encouragement throughout the day.

We hope that our messages of encouragement will put a smile on our healthcare workers’ faces and brighten their day. We understand how tough it is for these healthcare workers and we just want them to know that we are very grateful.
