Columbus Branch Hosted HS EC Workshop for Speech & Debate on May 29, 2022
AYLUS Columbus hosted Workshop 7 in the AYLUS Workshop Series on Extracurricular Activities, a series jointly organized by the Columbus and Chapel Hill branches to educate middle school students and high school freshmen on popular extracurriculars.
Workshop 7 on Speech & Debate was presented by Andrea Yu, organized by Rachel Zhu, and hosted by Brenna Li. During this seminar, Andrea introduced the extracurricular activity Speech & Debate, provided an overview of the different Speech & Debate events, and explained the benefits of participating in this club. Over 30 participants joined the workshop, including AYLUS Columbus volunteers Evan Yu and Emma Yu, and audience members asked a variety of questions during the Q&A session. Volunteer hours are given as follows.
