On January 27th, the AYLUS Auburn Branch conducted its first community cleanup activity of 2024. We organized the cleanup around the Calhoun Tennis Center, which is nestled in a tranquil valley surrounded by whispering trees and a white-water, flat-rock creek. This area is popular among people of all age groups and experiences heavy daily use. During the cleanup, we had the pleasure of meeting several early morning exercisers who highly praised our cleanup efforts. Due to time constraints, we were only able to clean up one portion of this large park, so we plan to return in the near future to complete the cleanup of the remaining areas.
Our members who participated in this activity are Annie Bao (1 hour), Will Bao (1 hour), and John Moore Saavedra (1 hour).
