AYLUS Gladstone Branch Spreads Cybersecurity Awareness To Seniors In The Long Branch Library

From 4:00 to 5:00 pm on January 29th, 3 members of the AYLUS Gladstone Branch presented to seniors in the Long Hill Public Library regarding cybersecurity awareness. Topics covered in the presentation included: password management, complex/strong passwords, phishing, vishing, smishing, common internet scams, and social media safety. The seniors were very engaged throughout the presentation and at times even provided their own insight and personal experiences about cybersecurity or scams. Overall, both the presenters and the seniors thought it was a fun and engaging event, fostering much discussion and learning to help make sure that seniors know how to act and what to do on the internet to be safe from cybersecurity threats.
