On September 17th, seven members from the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch united to host a heartwarming concert at the Carol Woods Community Center. This event left an indelible mark, especially as we welcomed four new members, Elsa, George, April, and Lucas, into our community. We devoted our time to connecting with the cherished seniors who attended.
Throughout the concert, our music resonated with the seniors as we performed a blend of classical and modern pieces. Their gratitude was evident, filling us with pride for the joy we brought them. We eagerly anticipate carrying on this tradition of spreading happiness through our music.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Elsa Xu (1.5 hours), Rithika Bandaru (1.5 hours), Eric Sun (1.5 hours), George Wang (1.5 hours), Luna Chen (1.5 hours), April Zhang (1.5 hours), and Lucas Zhang (1.5 hours).
