During the afternoon of 9/20, Aylus Great Neck hosted a tutoring event at the Station Branch of the Great Neck Library.
Before the event, parents nearby signed up through the Great Neck Autism Organization to have a tutor work with their children.
On the day of the event Andrew Qian, Ashley Liao, and Ruiqi Liu arrived at the library at around 4:30PM to help the 3 children who were signed up. Each student had their own needs, and we tutored them on tasks such as reading passages and answering math questions.
We finished up after 1 hour, said goodbye to the children and their parents, and left by 5:30PM.
