On July 26, 2023, AYLUS Pearland members continued this project as volunteers at the special needs care center (LSA).
At the beginning, Zide explained to require some touching up, mixing paint to color match and the details to focus on particularly to paint. Iris Yang and Emma Lu were working on all the big picture, Andy jiang and William Sun were working on LSA and people and red cross section, Zide Liu were working on all sections cleaning. During the painting the artists showed their skills through mixing paint to color match, painting clean straight edges, and improvising different colors.
At the end of the day, we finished the mural painting and cleaned the hallway. All the volunteers enjoyed this experience and were happy with the progress of their work. We are proud to be able to work together and finish a meaningful project.
