On July 19th, members of the Pearland AYLUS volunteered at the SMILE program held by the Light and Salt Association. In the first half of the morning, Taylor Chan taught the students crafts. Although it was challenging for the students to fully crease the paper and perform all steps, the students worked diligently and finished the project.
Next, Anna Zheng lead the students to play yard games to work on their coordination and teamwork skills. The students worked together to overcome physical challenges and challenged each other to improve. The students enjoyed being competitive with the volunteers and truly enjoyed their time playing games.
