On July 18th, members of the Pearland AYLUS volunteered at the SMILE program held by the Light and Salt Association. In the first half of the morning, Taylor Chan lead the students to play yard games to work on their coordination and teamwork skills. The students worked together to overcome physical challenges and challenged each other to improve.
Next, Abigail Zheng taught crafts. The students worked diligently to finish their projects and although it was difficult, with the volunteers help and their determination, the students persevered through and finished their crafts.
