“Days for Girls advances menstrual equity, health, dignity and opportunity for all. We transform periods into pathways.” -Days for Girls International
Days for Girls is an event for girls and women in poor countries like the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In Days for Girls event, volunteers make kits for girls and women to manage their periods. In order to make the kits, volunteers have to cut fabric, sew, iron, pin, serge, fold, sort, and lastly pack everything together.
The following members participated in the event and with 3 volunteer hours for each: Enke Luo, Lauren Kan，Hannah Liu，Serena Liu.
