Pearland Branch Volunteered Summer Swimming Lessons for Local Community on June 27th, 2023

June 27,was the first day of the AYLUS Pearland Summer Swimming Class session 2.

Before class started, all the coaches got together, talked about what experiences they got with session 1, what improvement they needed. Each coach got assigned a new student. Based on each student’s swimming skill, they made plans for the whole session and for today.
All students arrived on time. New sessions started with a safety briefing.
Audrey Liu was afraid to get into water at the beginning, Edwin Gao tried different ways to make her enjoy the fun with water, now she can kick with board. Amelia Zheng can swim a little bit, Edwin Gao taught her how to swim freestyle correctly. Felicia Chen had no swim skills, Eddie Fu taught her first with floating and kicking. Alden can freestyle a little, Erick Gao demonstrated how to swim correctly.
From next class on, a 15 min dry land will be added.
