On April 1, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS members conducted a park cleanup at Meadows Park. They aimed to finish at lightning speed, splitting into groups to cover as much ground as possible. They began with the grass area, each taking a side before meeting in the middle. Then, they moved to the playground area, finding trash within the wood chips. They then circled the parking lot to find straws, cigarettes, and more strewn about. They discovered a mess of broken plastic which was promptly picked, before the trash picker tools were cleaned thoroughly.
