San Diego Branch organized the 1st cleaning up enviroment event at Del Mar Beach on May 14th, 2022.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized 1st cleaning up environment event at Del Mar Beach on May 14th, 2022.

Trash pollution is a prevalent issue in many parts of the world today, harming the environment as well as wildlife within the area. We believe that as global citizens, it is our mission to protect our Mother Earth. With this in mind, the San Diego Brach kicked off the cleaning up environment event, which is an attempt to help the local environment suffering from the buildup of trash. We believe that by our efforts to keep the local enviroment clean, we will create conditions that are much more conducive to biodiversity.

On Saturday, May 14th, 2022, AYLUS San Diego Committee conducted the 1st clean-up event on Del Mar beach, removing trash such as plastic bottles, bags, caps, balls, straws and metal cans.

Members that participated (3 hours for each) were: Enze Luo, Enke Luo, Angela Li,Nathan Yang, Yicheng Liu,Brigitte Shi,Sophie Tsui,Chloe Chen,Kevin Kan,Lauren Kan,Sarah Wang, Ethan Cai and Anlin Li.
