Chapel Hill Branch Performed at Senior Living Center on November 9, 2019

On November 9, 2019, AYLUS moved on to Carol Woods and performed our prepared pieces. We had two new members join us named Kevin and Luna. With lots of players (Grace, Audrey, Sophia, Susanna, Peter, Mark, Nicholas in addition) we had many different songs to play for the Seniors. We started off with the piano playing a waltz called the Blue Danube and the well-known piece The Entertainer. This got everyone in a relaxed mood to start off. Next, we heard the lively saxophone which satisfied everyone’s ears. Then we had another Waltz played on the piano, getting the seniors nostalgic about their happy memories with loved ones. We proceeded then to the sing-along, where we sang calming songs such as Edelweiss, Do Re Mi, Amazing Grace, and much more. The seniors happily sang along and were having a great time. And with all of the relaxing, joyful songs we played, we left the Seniors with another great day.
