On August 18th, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS held the 43rd STEAM Challenge Camp. The goal of the challenge camp is to teach the children of new immigrants.
Classes taught: English for 8 elderly men and women
The following students participated in the 43rd Challenge Camp: Jinghan Zeng, Chengda Li, Chengming Li, Richard Xu and Victor Ku
In addition, AYLUS San Diego also hosted the 2018-2019 PVSA awards ceremony during this event. During the ceremony both former and current AYLUS San Diego members showed up and was rewarded with either a Gold, Silver or Bronze PVSA medal, depending on how many hours they contributed to their community in the past year.
The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 43rd Challenge Camp on August 18th, 2019.
