On July 19, 2018, 5 students from the AYLUS San Diego Branch Volunteered at Feeding San Diego. Feeding San Diego  is a leading hunger-relief charity & food bank serving San Diego County through a variety of direct-to-client and partner agency programs. Each Year, they distribute 28,964,754 meals to people struggling with hunger in San Diego. Feeding San Diego provides food and resources to a network of more than 245 distribution partners serving 63,000 children, families and seniors each week.

The students spent two hours sorting and packaging 300 pounds of tomatoes, decorating backpacks for meals, and sorting files. We are very appreciative of our students and hope to work with Feeding San Diego again in the future!

The following volunteers participated: Colin Huang, Chengming Li, Joshua Trost, and Alan Zhu.
