On November 12, 2016, Aylus Pearland went to support veterans combating PTSD on the Pearland

Veterans Day Walk.

Over the course of 2 hours, the 15 members, adults and kids alike, completed 4k of walking or running.

Not only did this donate to HIKE for Mental Health, an organization that serves veteran PTSD victims, it also helped raise awareness for the men and women who served their country and are currently battling PTSD.

The best part about this was the feeling of accomplishment knowing that our involvement helped the

veterans slowly integrate back into society and overall just helping them after they sacrificed so much

for us. Our branch is extremely proud of our veterans and was glad that we were able to attend an event dedicated to the treatment of those PTSD victims.

The members were: Kevin Chen, Jason Jiang, Grace Liu, Han Lu, Tony Liu, Jerry Gu, Vincent Yang,

Fangyuan Wang, and Kathryn Zhong
