On June 8th, 2020, three high school students from the Shenendehowa Central School District in New York founded the fifty-eighth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Albany, NY.

Description of the Albany Branch
The Albany Branch of AYLUS is committed to inspiring students to play a more active role in their community through volunteering. Through participation in our branch’s activities, each member will demonstrate leadership skills, creativity, build character, work with others, and experience the rewards and pleasures that volunteerism has to offer while also having tons of fun! We hope to increase our services to encompass a variety of interest fields so that students will use their unique talents and passions to serve the community. Members of the Albany Branch are enthusiastic to aid their community. We truly believe that through volunteering, people can bring out the best in themselves.
