Description of the Snoqualmie Branch
Our goal as the Snoqualmie Branch in the great Washington state is to instill a love for helping the community in the local youth. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many, including ourselves at certain times, have felt inefficient and uninspired, watching the world slowly fall apart from home, unable to help make a difference in times of crisis. In late March 2020, we started an at-home local business selling masks to our community and donating a portion of the money to organizations such as SaveTheChildren and our local hospital, Swedish Issaquah. We aspire to continue nurturing and fostering bigger, at-home (for the moment) projects such as this to include our leaders, members, and other organizations with similar interests. We have also worked closely with children and possess the ability to be a strong but approachable figure for other peers and youth. With the value of community service in youth, we hope to make a meaningful impact on their growth and pave the way for our future generation of leaders.
