On September 5th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Members were involved in uppotting, the process of moving mature plants into a larger pot for better growth. We were also involved in removing weeds from the perimeters of the garden to make it look more appealing. This was a part of our preparations to assist with the plant sale that will be happening on 9/12.
Attending members: Justyn Lam (2.5hr), Yue Chan (2.5hr), Isaac Pan (2.5hr), Grace Pan (2.5hr), Gavin Pan (2.5hr)
