Dec. 20, 2019 East Cobb Branch Making Christmas Cards as Gifts for Seniors and Thanks cards for Constellations

On Friday, December 20th, 14 members of the East Cobb Branch met together to make holiday cards for the seniors at the senior centers that the East Cobb Young Musicians were visiting.
Members used variety of festive and colorful cardstock and holiday stickers to decorate and make the cards. Members wrote festive notes for the seniors and drew small little pictures for them. Some members even made origami to put onto the cards.
As all the members joined together to make the cards, everyone felt the joyous holiday spirit among them, and they wanted to share the spirit with the seniors.
As members gave out the cards the day after, the seniors were joyed to receive holiday cards. The members were so happy that giving such small things made them so happy. The holidays are meant to share happiness and joy, and the members of the East Cobb Branch were able to share their love for the holidays with the seniors.

Members of the East Cobb Branch also wrote notes to send to the branch’s new sponsor, Constellation, to thank them for their generous support in donations. Members wrote thank you notes and sent pictures to Constellation to post on their website. Members of the East Cobb Branch greatly appreciated their support in the branch’s activities to help the community and wanted to give them thanks.
