Gladstone Branch Writes Christmas Letters to Local Children

On December 13, the whole Gladstone Branch (Travis Xue, Jenny Xu, Owen Luo, Angela Xu, and a new member, Duc Nguyen) got into the holiday spirit by visiting the Warren Township Courthouse to help Santa out with his giant workload. Upon arrival, the group was greeted with warm welcomes and a stack of letters that needed to be responded to. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Gladstone branch members replied to Christmas letters written by local children.

Ranging from giant mystery eggs and American Girl dolls all the way to wanting to visit Santa in the North Pole, the children’s wishes for the coming Christmas kept us all very entertained. Through the hard work of all the Gladstone Branch’s members and other volunteers that attended the event, we were able to respond to a total of 361 letters! It was worth knowing that we made a lot of children happy and hopeful about Christmas.
