On October 10th 2026, AYLUS Houston volunteers spent three hours volunteering at
Family Hope in Fulshear, supporting families facing a financial crisis.
During the volunteer event, volunteers worked together to prepare bags of food for local
families facing difficulties. Some volunteers were responsible for holding the bags open
so other volunteers could put food into them. Other volunteers carried empty bags and
went to each volunteer to collect the different food items. They worked together to make
sure that each bag had the needed food before it was given to families. In total,
volunteers prepared 140 bags of food.
Everyone had a different job, but they worked together to prepare the food. The
volunteers worked hard and helped each other during the event. Because of their
teamwork, they were able to prepare 140 bags of food for people in need.
We are thankful for all the volunteers who gave their time to help local families receive
food they needed. We are grateful for the opportunity to help and look forward to
helping the community again.
