AYLUS Garden City volunteers participated in the third Haunted Hike event at the Garden City Bird Sanctuary, continuing their support of this popular seasonal community activity on 10/30/2026, 6-8pm.
Working alongside fellow student volunteers, Adriana and Daniel helped bring the Halloween-themed trail to life by dressing up as spooky characters and interacting with visitors along the hiking path.
This time, volunteers brought extra creativity and humor to their spooky performances, entertaining visitors with funny, unexpected scares and playful Halloween characters along the trail. Their imaginative interactions added a lively twist to the Haunted Hike, giving families and children a memorable experience filled with laughter, surprises, and just the right amount of fright.
The Haunted Hike offers students an opportunity to contribute to a local community event while developing communication, creativity, teamwork, and adaptability. By working together to engage visitors and maintain the Halloween atmosphere, volunteers helped make the event enjoyable for families and community members.
Through ongoing collaboration with the Garden City Bird Sanctuary, AYLUS Garden City continues to provide students with meaningful opportunities to participate in seasonal events, support local organizations, and strengthen their community connections.
