Great Neck AYLUS volunteers Yucheng Fu and Isabelle Yang played sports with kids at firefighter park for the 79th time on 10/23/26.
The day was a little windy and cool, and the weather remained clear after a time of bad weather last week. At 4:30, the session began with Yucheng playing with Jack on the swings, pushing him and making conversation. Isabelle soon joined them at the swings, and the 3 ended up swinging together side by side. They talked about various topics such as school, glasses and contact lenses.
After a while, Jack, Yucheng and Isabelle eventually went to the playground, where they accompanied Austin playing soccer with a beach ball, continuing to talk about various topics. Then, Jack, Yucheng and Isabelle played a game of tag/hide and seek near the playground and ended the day at the swings again, talking about holidays. The fun and exercise of the day rid everyone of their stress, and the volunteers look forward to their next meeting with the kids next Friday.
