AYLUS Garden City members continued their collaboration with WeArt GC Studio to decorate breakfast bags for the Kids Independent Food Program (KIFP) on 10/25/2026, between 11:15am and 3:15pm. Lynnea, Luis, Leanne, Natalie, Sophia and Daniel used their creativity and artistic skills to transform ordinary brown paper bags into colorful, personalized designs for children receiving meal assistance.
In addition to the art project, Lynnea and Luis took the initiative to organize and sort the completed artwork. They photographed the designs and created a reference folder that future volunteers and new members can use for inspiration and guidance. This resource will help preserve examples of previous work and make it easier for new participants to get involved in future activities.
Lynnea and Luis also worked together to establish social media accounts for the AYLUS Garden City chapter. This effort will help the branch share its activities, highlight volunteer contributions, and connect with more students and community members.
Through these activities, AYLUS Garden City members contributed not only through direct service but also by building resources and communication tools to support the chapter’s continued growth.
