On Sunday, October 18, AYLUS Roslyn volunteers went back to visit the CP Nassau residents at their Bayville location from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. We started the day by saying hi to all the residents. We started off by decorating halloween themed haunted house decorations with stickers to give to the residents. We then had some of the residents play connect 4 vs each other as well as against us, which they had lots of fun doing. After that, we played bowling with the residents and each resident got a turn to knock down all the pins while we helped guide most of them. It was exciting to see some of the residents were able to do it by themselves which was exciting to see and they seemed to have lots of fun. We then played a mini axe throwing game where some of the residents put a mini axe on the target. To end the day, we talked with a couple of the residents while they continued to work on the halloween themed decorations we brought. We had a great time this week.
