Reported by Elissa Song
On the 24th of October, 2026, AYLUS Lake Washington branch members Elissa Song and Wuyou Zheng volunteered at the Big Rock Park Central Heritage Garden with the Sammamish Botanical Garden Society for their annual bulb planting event. They cleared garden beds, tilled soil, and helped plant various tulip bulbs by digging holes and sprinkling on weed control products. They agree and acknowledge that this was an amazing opportunity to help out the community and contribute positively to the environment.. Elissa and Wuyou both volunteered for three hours from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
