On August 16, 2026, members of the AYLUS Great Neck Branch gathered at Kings Point Park for another trail maintenance service project. All the volunteers worked together to help flatten the paths of Kings Point Park to make the path safer and a better experience.
After 400 meters of hard work removing debris and obstacles the paths are now much safer for those to walk on. With the help of our AYLUS members, residents and visitors can now freely walk, jog, or run with less worry of injury or tripping. Our volunteer work runs parallel with our goals of making the community a better place for all, and letting everyone enjoy public spaces freely and safely.
In addition to supporting the community with clearing the paths and flattening them; AYLUS members were able to socialize with each other and create friendships that relate people with those of similar goals. This unites everyone and makes a big difference as a group. Working together, the AYLUS Great Neck Branch is able to provide and sustain it’s efforts to service the public, support the environment, and help all in the community.
