On August 9th before the new school year started, AYLUS continued the crayon drive. All of our volunteers worked together to gather a bunch of unused crayons from families to be donated to those in need. Even with only 2 weeks left before school begun, our volunteers gathered 8.8 pounds of crayons in the short amount of time. One of those volunteers went to the New Star Academy afterschool program to collect crayons, and was very successful. We really appreciate all the volunteers hard work and all of our supporters!
