From 6:45 to 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 4, the Bellaire Branch of AYLUS volunteered at the City of Bellaire Independence Day Parade.
The City of Bellaire hosts its annual Independence Day Parade every July 4th. Prior to the event, volunteers positioned traffic cones across multiple intersections to close roads and guided drivers around the parade route. Volunteers remained stationed throughout the parade, which kicked off at about 9:00 AM. Once it concluded, they helped clean up by removing the cones and safely reopening the streets. Their dedication ensured a smooth, well-organized 4th of July celebration for the local community.
8 AYLUS volunteers participated in this event: Justin Wang (3.25 hours), Kyle Tang (3.25 hours), Selina Yuan (3.25 hours), Samuel Hu (3.25 hours), Ryan Li (3.25 hours), Yiqian Long (3.25 hours), Clement Ding (2 hours), David Li (2 hours)
