Today, volunteers helped a senior troubleshoot how to connect their Bluetooth hearing aids to their Android/Samsung phone during a phone call. The volunteer guided the senior to open Bluetooth settings on their phone and pair the hearing aids with the device so that call audio could be directed through the hearing aids.
At today’s technology support session, volunteers helped seniors become more comfortable connecting and using assistive technology with their phones. Through patient, hands-on guidance, the senior learned how to pair their hearing aids with their device, making it easier to use their phone during calls. The session also provided an opportunity for volunteers and seniors to connect and strengthen the supportive community.
