On October 10th, 2026, eight AYLUS volunteers dedicated part of their day to participating in a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) meal-packing event. Upon arriving, volunteers were provided with hairnets and listened to an introductory presentation explaining FMSC’s mission and the proper procedures for packing meals. Once the presentation concluded, everyone moved to the packing area and was assigned a specific role, including weighing ingredients, sealing bags, opening bags, boxing meals, or feeding ingredients into the packing process. Working together at their respective tables, volunteers assembled MannaPacks that would be distributed to communities facing food insecurity in various countries. Each meal pack consisted of rice, soy, dried vegetables, and essential vitamins, providing recipients with a balanced and nutritious meal. To keep everyone engaged throughout the event, friendly competitions were organized between tables, encouraging volunteers to work efficiently while enjoying the experience. By the end of the session, AYLUS volunteers and other community members had collectively packed 96 boxes of MannaPacks, amounting to over twenty thousand meals for people in need around the world. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this event a success!
