On Monday May 4th, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, the Twin Falls branch volunteered at the Saint Edward the Confessor Soup Kitchen.
Our branch volunteered at the local soup kitchen and helped manage things during food distribution time. During this time, we assisted with food distribution by serving meals, refilling water cups, and helping clean dishes by organizing them into racks for the dishwasher. We also got to engage with people in our community and have conversations with the individuals that came to enjoy dinner. This experience not only allowed us to help the soup kitchen run more smoothly but also connect with others positively.
Overall, volunteering at the soup kitchen was a meaningful experience and we were able to contribute to effective service during dinner time and we look forward to returning in the future.
