On Saturday October 11, 2025, West Essex AYLUS volunteered with America Heart Association at the 2025 Northern New Jersey Heart Walk in Roseland NJ (1 Adp Blvd Roseland, NJ 07068)
The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke.
The Northern New Jersey Heart Walk has always been a terrific way to get moving while socializing with friends, family, and coworkers. But it’s so much more than a walk! Walking in the Heart Walk boosts your heart health AND your mental health and helps thousands of others at the same time.
West Essex branch members arrived at 7:00am to help with set-up. They set up tables for different sessions, put event signs along the route, unboxed snacks and water bottles and decorated the kid zone. Then volunteers were assigned to the kids-zone table and nutrition tables. During the event, branch members were able to quickly pick up new tasks whenever the organizer needed help. At the end, our branch members helped with the final cleanup to close the event.
