Over the weekend, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch baked homemade cookies for seniors. Volunteers prepared the cookies in their own kitchens and carefully packed them in individual bags for easy distribution. These cookies will be delivered through Meals on Wheels, a program that helps address hunger among older adults. Beyond being a tasty treat, they are meant to bring a little comfort and brighten the day for those who receive them.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Alwin Liu (6 hours baking cookies and 0.5 hour packing) and Andrew Zhao (1.5 hours).
