On March 15 , 2026, AYLUS supported the Syosset Chinese School Chinese New Year celebration at SUNY Old Westbury. As it was Lunar New Year weekend, the event brought together many families to celebrate Chinese culture and traditions.
Volunteers helped with setting up decorations, organizing activity stations, assisting children with crafts, guiding guests, and cleaning up after the event. The celebration created a festive atmosphere and allowed the community to come together to welcome the new year.
Overall, the event was successful and provided meaningful service while promoting cultural appreciation and community engagement.
