Houston Branch Volunteers at Citizens for Animal Protection on February 13th, 2026

On February 13th, AYLUS Houston volunteers served at Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), helping care for dogs at the shelter. During the visit, members spent their time walking dogs of different sizes, giving them the opportunity to exercise, explore the outdoors, and receive much-needed attention.

These walks are an important part of maintaining the dogs’ physical and emotional well-being while they wait to find their forever homes. Volunteers helped provide enrichment and companionship, which can make the animals more comfortable and better prepared for adoption.

AYLUS Houston is grateful to Citizens for Animal Protection for allowing us to support their mission of caring for rescued and abandoned animals. We are proud of our volunteers for their compassion and dedication, and we look forward to continuing to help organizations that promote animal welfare in our community.
