On February 22, 2026, members of the Chapel Hill Branch baked homemade cookies for Meals on Wheels, an organization dedicated to fighting hunger in our community. Our volunteers baked the cookies in their own kitchens, putting care and thought into every batch. These cookies were more than just treats. They were heartfelt gestures meant to bring smiles, comfort, and a reminder that our community cares. By sharing their time, effort, and creativity, our volunteers hoped to brighten the day of each senior recipient and inspire others to take part in acts of kindness.
Volunteers who participated in this event were: Alwin Liu ( 6 hours baking on 2/22/2026, 0.5 hours packing on 2/23/2026 ), Leah Yang (6 hours on 2/22), Andrew Zhao (6 hours on 2/22), Eli Tan (4.5 hours on 2/22) and Eric Sun (0.5 hours packing on 2/23/2026)
