West Essex AYLUS members are working to expand opportunities to play and learn Quiz Bowl in the local community. Quiz Bowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Heritage Middle School hosted a full-day Quiz Bowl tournament on February 7th, and required volunteers to help run the tournament. AYLUS West Essex members went to the tournament to help set up game rooms and moderate (read questions and scorekeep) games.
