Since its establishment in June 2025, the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga (RC) Band has been dedicated to regular rehearsals and musical growth. By the end of the year, the group had prepared three ensemble pieces for stage performance. In December, the band was honored to receive an invitation to participate in the Lunar New Year Festival touring events, providing a wonderful opportunity to perform for the local community at several large-scale celebrations.To make full use of the one-hour performance time arranged by the organizers, the band expanded its program by adding three solo performances. Before their first official appearance, members devoted their spare time to four additional rehearsals. Each performer carefully selected their repertoire, and four student musicians took on the responsibility of presenting both ensemble and solo pieces across all three festival events.During the performances, the program featured a rich variety of musical styles. Audience members enjoyed ensemble selections such as Croatian Rhapsody, Flower Day, and Ave Maria, along with solo performances including violin, flute, and piano pieces such as Violin Concerto No. 3, Sonata in F Major, Por Una Cabeza, and a special violin presentation of Despacito. The diverse repertoire showcased not only the students’ technical skills but also their musical expression and versatility.The Lunar New Year Festival attracted thousands of community residents, and the band’s performances were warmly received. Through their dedication and teamwork, the students successfully completed three important performances and gained valuable stage experience. In recognition of their hard work and contribution to the event, the AYLUS RC Band was honored with certificates of appreciation.This experience marked an important milestone for the young ensemble and demonstrated the spirit of commitment, collaboration, and community service that defines AYLUS members.
