AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteered for Accessible Art Program (10th) 2/2/26

On Monday, Feb 2nd, from 17:30-19:00, Felicia Liu, Jolynn Li and Catherine Tao, in Great Neck House, Accessible Art Program

During this program, we helped students with special needs explore their creativity through art. Today we made 3D drawings. We cut flower and butterflies pieces from printed papers. Then students cut pokers into frames and motifs, they rearranged them into creative designs. We attached the prepared materials to a background with 3D tapes. In this case, we made 3D drawings. Each week is unique since we did different fun projects with students. The purpose of doing this is to share our love with families and peers. This activity is really meaningful and successful since all of us paid effort in making art crafts. At the end of the activity, we also celebrated one student’s birthday. We were so happy to share cakes and sang birthday songs to her. Furthermore, we hope to accompany them on everyone’s birthday.
